Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to savingslocal.com, our online directory, our printed directory cards and our text messages. Savings Local is a business name of Black Sheep Marketing, LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("Savings Local," "we," "us" or "our"). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

Savings Local mails a local business directory card to homes in each city we serve and publishes the same directory online. Businesses can buy a listing in a category. Each city card has one business per category.

2. Using the directory

• Listings are for your information. A listing is not a review, recommendation or guarantee of any business.
• Businesses are independent and are not run by Savings Local. Any work you hire a business to do is between you and that business.
• We work to keep listings accurate, but we cannot promise that every listing is current or error free.

3. Business listings

• Plans, prices, payment terms and category rules for businesses are set out in the Advertiser Agreement you accept when you buy a listing. If these Terms and the Advertiser Agreement conflict, the Advertiser Agreement controls for your listing.
• You must give us accurate business information and have the right to use your business name and phone number.
• You allow us to show your business name and listing on our printed cards, website and social media.
• We may refuse, edit or remove a listing that is false, unlawful or harmful.

4. Text messaging terms

Program name: Savings Local Texts

Program description: Savings Local sends text messages to people who agree to receive them and replies to people who text us. There are two kinds of messages:

• Service messages: replies to your questions, scheduling, listing setup, account and billing updates.
• Marketing messages: news about open categories, new cities and offers. You receive these only if you check the separate marketing consent box.

How you opt in: You can opt in by checking a texting consent box on our website form, or by texting our number first. When you text us first, you agree to receive replies about your message. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

How to opt out: Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. You will get one final message confirming you are opted out. You can also reply CANCEL, END, QUIT or UNSUBSCRIBE. To start again, reply START.

Help: Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at info@blacksheepmktg.com or 385-336-3331.

Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder for the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission.

Privacy: See our Privacy Policy. We do not share mobile information or text messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Website use

Do not misuse the website. For example, do not copy the directory in bulk, scrape it, send spam through our forms, or try to break or overload the site.

6. Our content

The Savings Local name, logo, website, card designs and directory layout belong to Black Sheep Marketing, LLC. Do not copy or use them without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

Our website and directory are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind about the website, the directory or any business listed in it.

8. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Savings Local is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any dispute between you and a business listed in the directory. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid us nothing.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Using our services after a change means you accept the new Terms.
